After submitting each draft, you will need to submit a cover letter that gives it context. These letters are informal and should be around 1 page.

Here are the questions you need to answer:

1. How did the piece of writing start?
2. What changes did it go through from start to finish?
3. What principles of technique did you consciously use?
4. Whom do you visualize as your reader?
5. Can the piece of writing be paraphrased? How?
6. How does this piece of writing differ from the first draft
in: (a) quality (b) theme (c) technique?
